DATES PRESS :
Fully pneumatically operated semiautomatic machine for pressing depicted dates into blocks.
The machine operates by batches on the following principles:
Filling – weighing of molds with movable bottom;
Positioning of mold under the pressing head (for single or double mold);
Starting of pressing cycle. The dates are pressed progressively until the required block size and hardness;
Positioning of the mold with pressed dates on the pneumatic extractor, that expel the block with the movable bottom. For smaller production, the extraction step can be integrated within the pressing step.
Roller conveyor for returning the empty mold to the filling position.
All the movements are generated pneumatically, so no electrical power is required.
The overall speed, as well as the stroke of the pressing piston, are pneumatically set.
Stand-alone table with supports for pressing and extraction steps.
Fully realized in solid stainless steel plate and profiles, and food-grade plastics.
Complete with safety devices and a local push button box.
Nominal Capacity: approximately 600 operation/h with molds between 250 and 1000 g
Compressed air requirement: 100 Nl/min available at 7-8 Bar

DATES DEPITTER :
Patented, fully pneumatically operated semiautomatic machine for separating the dates from the pit leaving the dates whole in one piece,
suitable for:– loose packing, stuffing with nuts, pressing in blocks, chopping (dicing) en-robing with chocolate
The machine operates on the following principles:
Manual feeding of the machine. Graded dates are fed onto the holes of a plate conveyor with four lanes of holes and with length permitting respectively the operation by two or four workers. Each lane accepts a date size with a variation of up to 2 mm in diameter and 5 in length. The conveyor can be machined in order to accept two ranges of date size ;
The dates positioned in the holes are moved to the punching head where the pit is removed and discharged through a hopper into a box:
Then the dates are unloaded by the conveyor thanks to the opening of two consequent plates of the conveyor in correspondence of the conveying wheel;
The conveyor is cleaned by means of a pneumatic scraper after each punching operation.
All the movements are generated pneumatically, so no electrical power is required;
The speed is adjustable by a pressure filter reducer.
The synchronization of conveying, punching, the opening of date holders is mechanical.
Stand-alone frame.
Fully realized in solid stainless steel plate and profiles, and food-grade plastics.
Complete with safety devices and a local push-button box.
Nominal Capacity: it is depending on date size, shape, softness. (Conditioning at proper softness is
suggested for making easier the punching operation and permitting higher production speed).
The capacity of model BRM 4: up to 250 pieces/min.

FUMIGATION CHAMBERS :
The prevention for avoiding insects in the fruits (dates, nuts, ..) during their storing period, is done by eliminating spores, larvae, insects before the final cleaning and packing operation: the most effective system is, in this case, the fumigation operated under vacuum.
The operation consists of stacking properly the product to be treated inside a chamber suitable for working under vacuum.
Once the vacuum has applied a fumigant is distributed in the form of gas inside the chamber with the aim of terminating any undesired insect, in all its leaving stages: after proper fumigant application, the fumigant is washed out from the chamber until the residual concentration reaches, both in the product and in the chamber, the relevant limit values.
We realize two fumigating systems based respectively on the use of the traditional Methyl Bromide (delivered in bottles) and, alternately, of Phosphine (generated in the chamber starting from solid phosphate tablets).
As a matter of fact, the application of Methyl Bromide is going to be progressively abandoned due to the stricter limitation in the admitted residual concentration in the product: then We have developed, in cooperation with our partner company, the new system operating on Phosphine.
By the way, we are also supplying combined systems using alternately
Methyl Bromide or Phosphine, as well as the conversion of the existing chamber from the use of Methyl Bromide to Phosphine (Methyl Bromide to Phosphine conversion kit).
The machine is consisting of the following main components :
a sturdy steel chamber with relevant swinging door/s designed for wiring under vacuum;
a vacuum generation unit, used for vacuum application, fumigant distribution, chamber air washing;
a dosing system either for Methyl Bromide available liquid in bottles, consisting principally of a dosing unit and an evaporation unit or, either alternately or in combination with a dosing system either for Phpshine available as phosphate tables, consisting principally of a phosphate positioning and gasification device to produce Phosphine in the chamber;
a control system for controlling the dosing of product and the vacuum degree;
various accessories such as recorder for vacuum, automatic valves with PLC control, on-line analysis of residual fumigant concentration, safety micro-switches, active carbon filter on the vent line; idle or motorized rollers conveyor facilitating the loading/unloading operation of pallets with the product (inside and outside the chamber),…
Each machine is designed according to the required processing capacity, with a volume indicatively between 12 and 70 m3.

PROCESSING TUNNELS :
Many operations in the food industry are realized with the use of continuous tunnels. We realize such kind of tunnels for the following unit operations:
Washing fruits. The machine consists essentially of a modular cased net conveyor at variable speed equipped with spraying devices for water, or air mist (atomized water by compressed air), or steam;
Cooling fruits and vegetables. The machine consists essentially of a modular cased net conveyor at variable speed equipped with air ventilation units, finned pipe exchangers, air temperature control units. The cooling medium in the exchangers is either cool or chilled water, or, in case of product chilling, directly expanded refrigerant by built-in refrigeration unit;
Drying fruits and vegetables. The machine consists essentially of a modular cased net
Conveyor at variable speed equipped with air ventilation units, finned pipe exchangers, air temperature control units. The cooling medium in the exchangers is either hot water, steam, or electrical inserts;
Conditioning fruits for moisture adjustment. The machine consists essentially of a modular cased net conveyor at variable speed equipped with air ventilation units, finned pipe exchangers, air temperature control units both for heating and subsequently cooling the product down to handling temperature. The heating and cooling medium are the same as above mentioned. Eventual moisture increase is done by sprayers (water, air mist, low-temperature self-produced steam);
Pasteurizing packaged products in jars, bottles, pouches, trays. The machine consists essentially of a modular cased net conveyor at variable speed equipped with water heat exchanging – pumping – spraying units that permit in sequence to heat the product at the pasteurizing temperature and then cooling down to handling temperature: a final module permits the mechanical air dying of the packages.

SORTING CONVEYORS :
Sturdy construction conveyors for checking, sorting, grading food products including:

VIBRATING SCREENS :
We realize vibrating screen for vegetable and fruits processing applied in various processing steps such as :
Cleaning, washing, dosing, conveying where also the separation of solids and separation of liquid may be involved.
The vibrating screen is based on the operation of eccentric vibrating motors connected to holed or rods screens, according to application, assuring a gentle treatment of the product.
The vibrating screens may be equipped with a various accessory, depending on the specific operation to be performed,
such as :
Box dampening grid;
Washing nozzles by tap water, with relevant water collecting vat;
Washing nozzles as above and with a built-in recirculation unit for collecting, filtering and
Pumping back the washing water to the nozzles. In such a system the water can be also heated (by electric resistance, or condense, or hot water ), and/or added with food-grade bactericide;
Air knife for water droplet separation.
